Roastery & Brewing Notes

Introducing Natural Selection, our spring seasonal blend that celebrates the expressive beauty of naturally processed East African coffees. Featuring SL14 and SL28 varieties from the Rwenzori Mountains of Uganda alongside Red Bourbon from Murambi Hill in Burundi, this blend highlights the distinctive character that emerges when origin, variety, and process align.

In the cup, vibrant blood orange leads with a juicy citrus brightness that immediately lifts the palate. As the sweetness settles, soft green tea notes bring a gentle clarity and silky structure, creating balance and refinement. A delicate rose floral lingers through the finish, adding elegance and aromatic complexity that feels unmistakably springlike.

Roasted to showcase fruit clarity and floral nuance, Natural Selection is a study in intentionality. The natural process enhances sweetness and depth while preserving the clarity of each origin, resulting in a cup that is lively, layered, and beautifully composed. Whether brewed as a crisp filter or a fruit-forward espresso, this blend captures the energy of the season and the remarkable character that emerges when nature is allowed to lead.
