Carrara Coffee Roasters Achieves AA BRCGS Food Safety Grade
At Carrara Coffee Roasters, quality and food safety are at the heart of everything we do, from the coffee we source and roast to the way it is stored and supplied.
Following our latest BRCGS Food Safety assessment on 31 July 2026, we achieved an AA grade, the highest possible grade at our second assessment.
This builds on the Grade A we achieved during our initial certification and recognises the continued development of our systems, processes and standards across our roastery and warehouse operations.
Carrara Coffee Roasters is also the only BRCGS-accredited coffee roaster in the Midlands, reflecting our continued commitment to maintaining high standards and continually improving the way we operate.
Continuing to Raise Our Standards
Achieving BRCGS certification was a significant milestone for Carrara Coffee Roasters, but maintaining and developing those standards is an ongoing process.
Since our initial Grade A assessment, our team has continued to review and strengthen our systems and processes, ensuring food safety remains embedded in our day-to-day operations.
Our second assessment resulted in an AA grade, providing independent recognition of the progress made since our initial certification.
The assessment covers the systems and controls in place across our operations, helping us maintain robust standards around food safety, quality, traceability and product control.
