Origin Story

Grown in the remote, mist-veiled highlands of San Alberto, Colombia, this exceptional coffee is the result of a powerful collaboration with EMURSA, a collective of women farmers dedicated to transforming their community through sustainable agriculture and a shared vision for a better future.

Founded in 2015, EMURSA has grown from 22 to 28 members, united by a deep commitment to sustainable community growth. Their farms lie within the lush and biodiverse landscape of TAMA National Natural Park. With limited access to chemical fertilisers, EMURSA members cultivate their coffee using entirely organic practices, out of both necessity and conviction. Now, they are working toward official organic certification to secure higher prices and greater recognition for the quality they produce.

In the cup, this washed-process coffee is both elegant and bold. It opens with the richness of dark chocolate truffles, offering depth and a velvety mouthfeel. A crisp note of Granny Smith apple brings brightness and balance, creating a lively contrast that lingers into a clean, cocoa-kissed finish.

More than just a coffee, this is a story of resilience, purpose, and the power of collective action. Each bag supports a community of women who are building a sustainable future, one harvest at a time.

Support the movement and drink with purpose!
