Experience the rich heritage of La Laja MWP Decaf, a distinctive single estate coffee sourced directly from the renowned Finca La Laja farm, nestled near the village of Huatusco in Veracruz. Owned by Hermilo Sampieri, this family-run farm has been cultivating exceptional coffee for three generations across 500 hectares at an altitude of 1,100 meters. The unique microclimate of La Laja, with its fertile soil, average temperatures of 15-22°C, and abundant annual rainfall of 2000 mm, creates the perfect conditions for growing high-quality coffee.

Certified for sustainable production by RFA and 4C, Finca La Laja is committed to environmental stewardship. The farm's name, "La Laja," is inspired by a type of stone native to the Huatusco region, symbolising the strong connection between the land and its produce.

Decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process, which utilises pristine glacier water from Mexico's highest mountain. This method immerses the green coffee beans, gently extracting caffeine while preserving their original flavour. The water is filtered to remove caffeine, allowing it to be reused with the beans' natural profiles intact. This careful process ensures that every cup of La Laja Decaf delivers the authentic taste of Veracruz's finest coffee, without the caffeine.
