Origin Story
Los Jilgueros is a standout microlot from Finca Los Jilgueros, grown by Manuel Armando Peralta in the mountains of Nicaragua. This is a 100% Pacamara, single-plot coffee, processed using a raised bed natural method to preserve clarity and intensify sweetness in the cup.
The Peralta family’s coffee legacy stretches back to the early 20th century, but it was in 2008 that brothers Julio and Octavio Peralta began pushing boundaries in specialty coffee. Their focus on precision, innovation and small-lot separation has placed them at the forefront of Nicaragua’s specialty scene.
In the cup, Los Jilgueros is rich and structured, with deep blackberry fruit and a smooth, creamy vanilla finish. A bold expression of variety, terroir and thoughtful processing.
